Royal London 360 sees big increase in new business

by isleofman.com 12th August 2010

STAFF at Royal London 360° are celebrating after the offshore life company posted a 20 per cent increase in new business in the first half of 2010 (H1), compared to the same period last year.

New business written between January 1 and June 30 totalled £153 million (£127 million, 2009), mainly due to larger sales of higher-margin regular premium business than anticipated.

To celebrate staff were recently rewarded with Bucks Fizz and cake in recognition of their continued hard work.

Head of marketing Natalie Dutton said: "An increase in new business of 20 per cent is very encouraging and an indication of the hard work our staff have been putting in to develop new products whilst maintaining excellent levels of service. This is especially welcome news given the difficult global market conditions of late.

"With a strong parent company, strong growth plans and a solid Isle of Man infrastructure with global presence, this is a very exciting time for Royal London 360°."

Royal London 360's head office is at the Isle of Man Business Park in Cooil Road, Douglas.
