'Colourful' scaffolding stolen from yard

by isleofman.com 11th August 2010

A QUANTITY of six foot long standard scaffold poles and about 40 scaffold jacks have been stolen from a yard in Falcon Cliff Terrace Lane, Douglas.

The theft happened overnight on Monday (August 9).

Some of the scaffold poles are red and others are yellow and purple.

PC Peter Dyer from Lord Street police station said in order to remove the items a van or similar vehicle would have had to have been used by the thieves.

He also said the yellow and purple scaffolding would be easily identifiable due to the colours it was painted in.

Anyone with information should contact police headquarters on 631212.
