Harriet aims for success at Glasgow games

After narrowly missing out on qualifying for this year's Commonwealth Games in Delhi, Manx athlete Harriet Pryke is focusing on selection for the next gathering, in Glasgow in 2014.

The 19-year-old 400 metre runner improved both her indoor and outdoor personal best times by good margins during the past season.

And rather than being disappointed that she won't be heading for India, Harriet has used the experience to motivate herself even more.

Her first goal is to strike gold at next year's Island Games on the Isle of Wight:
