CAPITAL International Limited has appointed Antony Kelsey as head of marketing and business development.

Antony has more than 10 years experience in business development and financial services.

He joins Capital International from Isle of Man Assurance where he was responsible for the successful creation and development of a new line of business marketed to UK IFAs and their high net worth clients.

His new role at Capital International will see him spearhead the company’s growth and business development activity in the Isle of Man as well as new markets.

Antony said: "I am thrilled to join the young, dynamic and experienced management team at Capital International.

"I knew Capital as a business from contact some years ago and when I started to chat to them about this role I realised how far the company has come in the last few years – in terms of size, product range and client base.

"There is a fantastic opportunity here to make a real difference – the company has all the necessary pieces in place, and I am really looking forward to driving forward our business development strategy.

"There’s a real buzz in this company about what we are doing and the ambitious plans we have. I am very pleased to be here and to be able to play a part in it."

CEO Anthony Long described Antony as a talented professional with a real ability to combine business development and relationship management skills with technical knowledge and commercial acumen.

He said: "We are delighted to have attracted Antony to this key role. His achievements at Isle of Man Assurance are well known and the skills he demonstrated there will have tremendous application for our own business.

"We are looking forward to the impact that Antony’s positive, proactive and ‘can do’ attitude will have on our business."

Capital International has its head office in Castletown and also has an office in Douglas.
