THE first Comedy Club of the month takes place this Thursday, August 12, at the Villa Marina, and will see Peter Kay’s regular support act, Steve Royle, headlining.

The MC for the evening is Mike Milligan, described by the Evening Gazette as, ‘one of the quickest brains on the circuit’. As well as being the resident host at Newcastle’s Hyena Comedy Club, he has written and performed for radio and TV. Credits include Byker Grove, Spender and The Paddy Kielty Show as well as the voiceover for Viz Comic’s highly successful Sid the Sexist video.

Labelled as, ‘my all time favourite funny man’, by Rick Wakeman, Trevor’s unique style and sense of humour delights audiences worldwide. He has performed on Channel 5’s Big Stage and has recently worked with international comedians such as Rich Hall, Jeff Green and Harry Hill.
