Renshaw boost for Cav

by isleofman.com 10th August 2010

There's a further boost for Isle of Man cyclist Mark Cavendish just a day after he ended any speculation about his own future by signing a two year extension to his contract with HTC-Columbia.

Australian Mark Renshaw has also put his signature to paper and will stay with the American team until at least the end of the 2012 season.

Renshaw has become known as the best lead out rider in the peloton and has played a big part in the success of Mark Cavendish.

He was disqualified from last month's Tour de France for head butting New Zealand rival Julian Dean near the end of stage 11 to create room for the Manx Missile to take victory.

Cavendish and Renshaw room together during events.
