Chairman hopes to attract investment to town

by isleofman.com 9th August 2010

Businesses in Ramsey have been invited to a meeting this week to discuss the way forward for the town.

It will be held at town hall on Wednesday and will be hosted by the commissioners, who say they want to build strong links with the private sector.

Chairman of the local authority Nigel Malpass says the aim is to work together to bring investment to Ramsey and revitalise it for residents and visitors.

He says, if the event is a success, it could become an annual gathering.

Wednesday's meeting starts at 6.30pm.
