Festival contributors praised for their 'amazing effort'

by isleofman.com 7th August 2010

A major music festival which has attracted thousands of revellers is continuing just outside Douglas today (Saturday).

The second annual Mannifest is being held at Glen Lough campsite, with multiple music stages, tents, food and drink stalls, and many other forms of entertainment.

Lockett Somerville, one of the organisers, hopes as many people as possible can be part of 'something really special' (play audio file):

Police are warning people not to take illegal drugs onto the Glen Lough site and are urging festival goers to drink sensible amounts.

Motorists are being reminded a temporary 30 miles an hour speed limit is in place outside the campsite, similar to the arrangement during the TT period.
