Ayre MHK Eddie Teare wants the Manx public to be given more information about how the government plans to rebalance its budget.
He says that was the recurring theme when he conducted an annual series of public meetings in his constituency this summer.
Constituents told Mr Teare the uncertainty generated by the present situation was unfair.
