'Clear message' to drunken youths at campsite

'Behave badly at the Sulby Claddagh campsite and faced the consequences!'

That's the message from police after a teenager admitted affray and criminal damage following an incident at the end of last month.

Police warned at the start of the summer they wouldn't tolerate anti-social behaviour at the facility, following complaints by other campers and local residents about gangs of youths drinking.

Inspector Derek Flint of the Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team says, following this conviction, the message couldn't be clearer:
