The jury in the murder trial at Douglas courthouse will hear evidence from the defendant's landlords today (Friday).

Simon Paul Leece, of Fairfield Terrace in Douglas, is accused of starting a fire which caused the death of 61-year-old builder Terence Losh.

Mr Leece is said to have set fire to Mr Losh's flat in Demesne Road in the early hours of March 22 last year.

He is also charged with lighting three minor fires in the Bucks Road area, hours before the fatal blaze.
