New Isuzu Truck dealer for the Island

by isleofman.com 5th August 2010

TRUCK manufacturer Isuzu Truck UK has announced details of its new main dealership on the Isle of Man with the appointment of B&C Engineering Ltd in Ballasalla, who will have full responsibility for Isuzu sales, service and parts on the Island.

“We see great potential for the full Isuzu range from 3.5 tonnes to 18 tonnes, with the 7.5 tonne trucks being well received already..” said Jon Bennett, managing director. “Isuzu’s comprehensive three year unlimited mileage warranty across the range will attract operators to the marque and the proven product versatility is ideally suited to the road infrastructure on the Island.”

He added, “Whilst we know that we are the first full Isuzu dealership here, I also believe that we are the first ever commercial vehicle dealership from any commercial vehicle manufacturer on the island to offer a Manx based dedicated sales operation, and not just service and parts support linked to a mainland dealership.”

As part of their commitment to the full Isuzu dealership, B&C Engineering have already put an Isuzu Grafter 3.5 tonne rigid demonstration vehicle into stock for potential customers to evaluate.

Keith Child, marketing director at Isuzu Truck UK, said, “Without doubt, the well renowned advantages of the full Isuzu truck range, in terms of payload, reliability and versatility, will offer significant long term benefits to transport operators on the Isle of Man.

“We believe there is sufficient market potential here for us to be the first manufacturer to appoint a full sales, service and parts dealership on the Island.”
