There's a chance to help find happy homes for neglected canines this weekend.
Team Greyhound Isle of Man is a group of friends raising money for the Isle of Man-based greyhound rescue charity, Homesafe.
They are holding two sponsored dog-walks at the Ayres on Sunday and will be trying the match the ?3,200 raised at a similar event last year.
All the money raised will go towards Homesafe's work to rescue, re-habiltiate and re-home unwanted greyhounds.
Joanne Hetherington from Team Greyhound says thousands of puppies are bred each year, but most don't make it to the race track and many are abandoned or abused.
She says the breed suffers ruthless treatment (play audio file):
The sponsored walks are at 12 noon and 2.30pm on Sunday, starting at the Ayres Visitor Centre.
Sponsor forms can be picked up at Ramsey Pet Supplies, Animal Antics in Peel or the Pet Stop in Douglas.
