Archaeology festival moves to Laxey

The Island’s first ever Festival of Archaeology continues today (Saturday).

The programme features guided walks at the Great Laxey Wheel, conducted by author Andrew Scarffe.

Mr Scarffe, an expert on industrial archaeology in the Laxey Valley, will be conducting the tours from 1.30 to 3pm, and from 3.30 to 4pm.
