Engineers from the Department of Infrastructure have repaired a barrier on the lifting bridge over Douglas harbour, which closed after an accident during yesterday (Thursday) evening's rush hour.
Both barriers came down just before 5pm and remained closed for more than half an hour at peak-time, causing traffic tailbacks.
It's understood the closure was triggered after one of them was hit by a bus.
