Large amount of prescription drugs lost

POLICE have issued a warning after a large quantity of prescription drugs was lost in Castletown yesterday (Wednesday) at about 6pm.

 

The drugs were diazepam, tamazepam, dihydrocodeine and an un-named anti-depressant.

 

A police spokesman said: "There is a clear danger in taking any form of medication which is not prescribed to you and, if found by children, the risks to their health cannot be overstated.

 

"If these items are found please contact the police on 631212 who will collect and deal with them appropriately."
