THE owners of a Kirk Michael property that was burgled earlier this month are offering a £1,000 reward.
The reward is for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of whoever was responsible.
Police are now able to supply further details of items taken during the burglary, on July 3, which happened at a house on the Ballaleigh Road near to Cronk-y-Voddy crossroads.
They include a Sharp Blue-Ray DVD player, a Roberts DAB internet radio, two Apple I-pod touch music players, a Samsung digital camera and jewellery including a distinctive hinged platinum bracelet with diamonds.
A gold necklace was also taken which has an amethyst stone approximately 25mm x 20mm set in a 3D yellow gold frame with tiny diamonds set around the edge of the stone.
Small amounts of various denominations of currency were also stolen including; US Dollars, Euros, Ghanaian Sunny, Kenyan Schillings, Eastern Caribbean dollars, Czech Crown currency, Zimbabwe currency, Spanish Pesetas, Botswana Pila, French francs.
The most identifiable item taken is a pilot's headset made by David Clark which has a mouth piece attached. The headset can only be used by those involved in the aviation industry.
Police said a number of the items taken are very distinctive and anyone who has been offered them for sale or who has any information should contact Police Headquarters on 631212 or alternatively Isle of Man Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
