Big interest in Ramsey regeneration plans

by isleofman.com 29th July 2010

Organisers of Ramsey’s regeneration consultation exhibition held in Ramsey Town Hall have been encouraged by the level of response received from the public.

Lead consultant to the local regeneration committee, David Millar of Ramsey-based Dalrymple Associates, said: 'Such was the public interest in the exhibition that it was extended by one week and finished on June 5.

'Outcomes from the exhibition are being evaluated but judging from the thoughtful and considered responses to the display boards we set up in the town hall to highlight the scope of the scheme, it's clear the people of Ramsey welcomed the opportunity to have their say about the future of their town.'

Displays from the regeneration exhibition, and responses from the public, may be viewed at Ramsey Town Commissioners' website: ramsey.gov.im
