Update on man and woman seriously injured in traffic collision

A MAN and a woman will undergo surgery for serious injuries sustained in a traffic collision last night (Tuesday).

 

The incident happened at 7.10pm at the junction of Foxdale Road and Grenaby Road and involved a 20-year-old woman driving a car and a 34-year-old man riding a motorcycle.

 

The woman has facial and arm injuries and the man has a broken arm and leg and foot injuries and both will be undergoing surgery.

 

The junction where the collison happened is about half a mile up from the Cross Fourways junction at Ballasalla heading towards Foxdale, just before the Silverdale entrance.

 

Witnesses to the incident should contact PC Dave Kneen at Port Erin Police Station on 832222.
