Burglary at beauty salon

by isleofman.com 26th July 2010

POLICE are investigating a burglary at the Euphoria Beauty Salon in Port Jack, Onchan.

It happened between 4pm and 6pm yesterday (Sunday).

It is believed entry was gained through an unsecured rear door which backs out onto Imperial Terrace.

A police spokesman said: "To access this door it is necessary to go down a small set of steps and this may have attracted the attention of any nearby person.

"Any person in the area at the time of the incident or anyone with any information that could assist the investigation into this matter is urged to contact PC Damien Cullivan in the Eastern Neighbourhood Policing Team or any other police officer."

Wages cheques for the staff were stolen but the cheques have subsequently been cancelled with the bank.
