Farmhill fire

by isleofman.com 26th July 2010

People living in a flat in Farmhill had to be given oxygen after escaping from a blaze which broke out in a kitchen.

The fire service was called to the address at 11.20am on Saturday, when it was feared people may have been trapped inside.

But all the flat’s occupants escaped safely and were treated by firefighters until an ambulance arrived.

The fire service says damage was confined to the kitchen, a cooker and extractor fan.
