by isleofman.com 20th July 2010

Peel lifeboat Ruby Clery was launched on Monday afternoon to go to the aid of a traditional yacht.

The 49 foot 'Mischief' ran into difficulties at 4.45pm whilst eight miles North East of Peel en route from Scotland to Milford Haven.

She had problems with her fuel supply.

The Ruby Clery found the yacht with four crew on board and took them under tow, arriving back in Peel around 7pm.

All the crew were unharmed but very grateful for the assistance of the lifeboat.
