Boat worth ?20,000 stolen from Derbyhaven

A WHITE Cobra rigid inflatable boat (RIB) has been stolen from a yard in Derbyhaven Road, Castletown.

 

The 6.5 metre boat, worth about £20,000, has a 150 Evinrude horsepower Optimax engine and was taken between Monday, July 12 and Friday, July 16.

 

It was on a single axle rollercoaster trailer.

 

Police said the theft has caused "considerable distress" to the boat's owners and anyone with information should ring Port Erin Police on 832222 or the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555111.

 

The stolen boat is similar to the one pictured.
