Change to school day at St Ninian's

by isleofman.com 19th July 2010

Students at St Ninian’s High School will be getting used to a new timetable in the new school year – with changes to the school day.

After consulting with parents earlier this year, St Ninian’s says it will start the day five minutes earlier and end 15 minutes earlier, saving the government ?100,000 on buses.

The changes apply from September and head teacher Andrew Fox says there’ll be a shorter lunch to make sure pupils still get the same amount of time in classes.

Mr Fox says the timetable changes will all balance out.
