Community, Culture and Leisure Minister David Cretney has praised phone company Sure for bringing ice skating back to the Isle of Man.
He says having the Sure Skate rink at the Villa Marina over the summer holidays will give children more to do.
Mr Cretney believes it’s important to provide as many facilities as possible for young people.
But he says he remains convinced that there are opportunities for different sorts of leisure activities for the Island’s youth.
