SCS celebrates its 40th anniversary

by isleofman.com 16th July 2010

STEWART Clague Services (SCS) has celebrated its 40th anniversary in style today.

The firm, which was started by Stewart Clague in 1970, employs 55 people and is the Island's leading provider of facilities contracting.

It is based at Ballannette Park in Baldrine.

A special birthday event was held and guests included representatives from some of the many businesses who use SCS' services.

Economic Development Minister Allan Bell MHK was also in attendance and gave a speech at the event.

John ‘Dog’ Callister provided a short guided tour around the Ballannette nature conservation area - which SCS proudly sponsors - and there was a reception and carvery in a marquee, followed by an evening function with live entertainment and a hog roast for all SCS employees.
