MARK Cavendish may have notched up another win in the Tour de France yesterday but it was bad news for team-mate Mark Renshaw.
The Australian has been disqualified from the event after he was seen to head-butt rival leadout man Julian Dean of Team Garmin-Transitions three times in the sprint finish on stage 11.
Renshaw claimed he was trying to hold his line and "stay upright".
Cav's win was the 13th stage victory of his career in the Tour de France - and his third win at this year's event.
The HTC-Columbia sprinter beat Italian Alessandro Petacchi and American Tyler Farrar by over two bike lengths after a 184.5 kilometre ride from Sisteron to Bourg-les-Valence.
Cav, who also won stage five and stage six, said: "I'm really pleased to have won again. The team did a great job and we worked hard for this throughout the stage."
Cavendish's latest Tour victory is the 57th road win of his career.
