by isleofman.com 13th July 2010

POLICE are appealing for information after vehicles in a number of Douglas streets were damaged.

Vehicles parked in the area of Ballakermeen School, Westminster Drive, Woodburn Square, Tennis Road, Cronkbourne Road and Cronkbourne Village were attacked by vandals.

The vehicles had wing mirrors damaged, bodywork kicked and dented, windows smashed and bodywork scratched.

The offences happened overnight on Saturday, July 10.

A police spokesman said: "This appears to be a random act of mindless vandalism which impacts greatly on the community."

Anyone with information should contact PC Doug Ross at Police Headquarters on 631212 or any police officer.
