Motorcyclists released from hospital after Mountain Road collision

by isleofman.com 12th July 2010

TWO teenage motorcyclists have been released from hospital following a crash on the Mountain Road yesterday.

Police initially said a 17 year old man and a 19 year old man, both from Douglas, had suffered serious injuries in the collision at Kate's Cottage at 5.42pm and were taken to Noble's Hospital.

However they have now confirmed that the injuries were less significant than initially suspected and that both riders were released from hospital following treatment.

Both motorcyclists had been travelling towards Ramsey when the collision happened and the incident led to the road being closed for just over three hours.

Anyone with information about the collision should contact police on 631212.
