Treble glory for 14 year-old Emma Harris

by isleofman.com 12th July 2010

Fourteen year-old Emma Harris has done it again!

She won the Appleby Isle of Man Ladies Golf Championship for a third consecutive year in style, defeating Joy Morris.

The Island number one had too much for the Ramsey player in the showpiece at Peel.

The final was played over 36 holes and saw some superb golf from both ladies including the par five third where Morris had a birdie only to be beaten by Harris with an eagle.

Harris was nine up at the end of the first round and sealed it when she was 11 up with 10 to play.
