Policing 'free-for-all' number plates

If you have what are deemed illegal number plates on your car you will soon be attracting more attention than you bargained for.

The Department of Infrastructure is on the lookout for such plates and will be sending letters to vehicle owners.

Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne says it may seem like a minor issue, but the Island has to fulfil certain criteria for the UK.
