Power tools stolen in burglary

POLICE are investigating a burglary at a property in Mona Drive, Douglas, which is being refurbished.

  

It happened between 5pm on Saturday and 8am today.

 

A number of Dewalt power tools were taken and police believe a vehicle may have been used.

 

They want to hear from anyone who may have heard or seen anyone acting

suspiciously. Contact Constable Scott Mylchreest at Lord Street Police Station or any police officer on 631212.

 

Police are advising members of the public to be mindful if they are offered any  items from people who may be visiting a building site or a pub that they may be buying stolen property.

 

Handling stolen property can result in a severe penalty at court.
