The Chief Constable says he believes overall there is a genuine reduction in crime on the Island.

Mike Langdon was speaking on the release of the latest Chief Constable's report, which will go before Tynwald next week.

He says there's been some real progress in some areas, particularly with regard to public protection in distressing cases involving paedophilia.
