2010 Flower Festival underway

by isleofman.com 4th July 2010

The Island's popular Flower Festival begins today (Sunday).

Hundreds of visitors will take to the festival trail throughout the coming week, to view the exquisite floral art on display at 16 of the Island's churches.

Once again, there's a competition for the best photo and another for the best painting or drawing by a child, inspired by the flowers.

Manx Radio's Religious Affairs correspondent Judith Ley says this year, well-known public buildings will host displays as well.
