AN interim report on the causes of the collapse of Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander Bank (Isle of Man) Limited and the actions of the Financial Supervision Commission has been published.
The select committee report will be debated in Tynwald this month.
Copies are available from the Tynwald website at www.tynwald.org.im or from the Tynwald Library.
Evidence collected in the course of the inquiry can be inspected online at Ksfiom.tynwald.org.im
Committee chairman Juan Watterson MHK said: "I am pleased that the committee has completed first part of its task by looking at the causes of the collapse of KSF (IoM) and the actions of the Directors of KSF and the Financial Supervision Commission.
"This has been an extensive inquiry involving a large amount of evidence. We are very grateful to all those who
assisted us, especially the former depositors with KSF.
"We will continue our work with an examination of the Depositors Compensation Scheme. This will involve, among other things, looking at how the authorities in the Isle of Man handled the crisis from the moment of collapse of the bank.
"We have received very useful evidence from depositors in the first part of our enquiry and we very much hope to involve as many people as possible who were depositors with the bank in the second part of our work.
"Their experience is of central importance to us."
