Wheelchair couple's cars vandalised

by isleofman.com 30th June 2010

Two cars owned by a wheelchair-bound couple have been targeted by vandals in the west of the Island.

The vehicles had their back windscreens smashed while they were parked in Tynwald Close in St John's.

One was damaged overnight on Saturday, with the second being vandalised between 8.30am and 10.30am today.

Constable Kerruish says these offences are particularly distasteful, as the disabled owners rely heavily on the use of the vehicles.

If you have any information, call Peel police on 842208 or police headquarters on 631212.
