Minister refutes MHKs' college job loss claims

The education minister says job losses in the Isle of Man College's refectory aren't inevitable.

Eddie Teare's been reacting to a joint statement from North Douglas MHKs Bill Henderson and John Houghton, which spoke of their shock and outrage at the plan to slash 17 jobs.

Mr Teare says nothing has been decided about the loss-making canteen and there will now be a consultation to find an alternative solution:
