HGV crashes into Port Erin pub

POLICE are investigating a hit and run accident after a heavy goods vehicle crashed into the side of the The Station Hotel in Port Erin.

 

A police spokesman said "a considerable amount of damage has been caused to the side of the building".

 

It happened at 5.30pm yesterday at the Station Road pub and it is believed the vehicle involved was black and red.

 

Police said they are urging residents to be vigilant and are asking them to ring Port Erin Police Station on 832222 if they have any information.
