Police probe major fuel theft

Police are investigating after thieves siphoned fuel from vehicles on a Douglas trading estate.

Officers say those responsible struck at the Douglas Head Industrial Estate between 6pm on Friday, June 4, and 6am this Tuesday.

Several vehicles were targeted and detectives say a hosepipe or pump was used over a considerable period of time.

They’re appealing for anybody with any information on the theft to come forward by contacting them on 631212 or calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
