THERE are 28 entrants for the Ladies' Amateur Manx Golf Championship which takes place at Peel Golf Club early next month.
The event, which runs from July 4 to 11, is being sponsored by Appleby.
All of the entrants have a handicap of 28 or better.
The championship opens with two 18 hole stroke play qualifying rounds on Sunday, July 4 with the top 16 qualifiers progressing through to the match play stages starting on Tuesday, July 6.
The semi finals match play starts at 5pm on Friday, July 10, with the final two 18 hole rounds beginning at 10am and 2pm on Sunday, July 11.
The current titleholder is Emma Harris who has won the championship for the past two years.
She is a promising young talent, first winning the championship at only 12 years old.
The event continues to attract young players – the youngest this year is Ana Dawson from Peel Golf Club, who is just 10 years old.
