Laa Columb Killey today

Big crowds are expected for a traditional Manx summer fair being held this afternoon.

Laa Columb Killey, which is Manx Gaelic for the Day of the Church of St. Columba, is held annually in Arbory parish on the third Thursday of June.

There's all sorts of activities and events as well as the usual display tents and the famous afternoon tea.

One of the organising committee, Adrian Cowin, says its not just for residents of the parish:
