In yesterday evening's last sixteen matches at Ramsey, the Rowany player beat Brian Duggan 4 & 3.

Eight-time Champion Gary Wilson beat Jeff Ward 4 & 2.

Leading qualifier Chris Kneen and local favourite Davy Jones recorded 3 & 2 victories over Andrew Challenor and Jamie Arneil respectively.

There were also narrow wins for Daryl Callister, Daniel Arneil, Kevin Moore and Paul McMullan.
