Local union rep reacts to UK budget

There's been local union reaction to UK chancellor George Osborne's emergency budget.

Among the measures was a two-year pay freeze for all public sector workers who earn over ?21,000.

Prospect's negotiations officer here on the Isle of Man, Angela Moffat, says that's nothing new for her members, who face a second year without a pay rise if the Civil Service Commission has its way.

Ms Moffatt says it's also interesting Mr Osborne has promised a ?250 one-off payment for those earning under ?21,000.

She points out that's more than Prospect members here got:
