Police investigate theft in Willaston

CASH, cigarettes and DVDs were stolen from a property in School Road, Willaston, on Saturday afternoon.

 

The offence happened between 1.10pm and 3pm and police are appealing for witnesses to come forward and anyone else who might be able to help the investigation.

  

A police spokesman said: “The incident occurred close to the school and it was a particularly sunny afternoon. Potential witnesses may have been walking by at the time of the incident or walking their dogs in the park nearby.

 

"I would urge anyone with information about this incident to contact police or Crimestoppers."
