THE Britain's Got Talent meets X Factor event proved to be a big hit with the audience at the Manx Telecom Bay Festival this afternoon.
While a number of former contestants from the two ITV talent shows performed, singer Ruth Lorenzo and dance act Diversity proved to be the stand out performances.
Lorenzo wowed the audience with rock classics such as Always by Bon Jovi, Sweet O' Mine by Guns N' Roses and Purple Rain by Prince.
Dressed in an outfit with the Guns N' Roses logo on it, the rock chick received one of the biggest receptions of the afternoon.
Fans were overheard saying she would be a big hit if she came back for the TT.
Diversity, who were appearing for the second time in two days at the festival, demonstrated why they were crowned winners of Britain's Got Talent 2009.
Stavros Flatley and Signature provided the laughs during their appearances while Eoghan Quigg revealed he will be sitting a GCSE exam tomorrow.
All the acts seemed delighted to be performing at the festival and were introduced by TV voice over man Peter Dickson who also performed a song.
Danyl Johnson and Olly Murs, who were among the most popular X Factor contestants on the last series of the show, were also a hit with the crowd.
Meanwhile DJ Ironik stepped in after dance act George Sampson was unable to perform due to illness.
Tonight sees 80s popstars play in the giant marquee and the concert will signal the end of the 2010 Manx Telecom Bay Festival.
