Rowany player Chris Kneen finished as the top qualifier at the Isle of Man Golf Championship at Ramsey on Saturday.

The course, particularly the greens, were reported to be in splendid condition. The weather was sunny but breezy.

Kneen finished three shots clear of club mate and defending Champion Paul Lowey and local favourite Davy Jones.
