Gubay keen to get started on casino build

Well-known businessman Albert Gubay says a new resort casino could be ready to go in around two year's time, if it gets the go-ahead by the Manx government.

The 82-year-old multi-millionaire developer says whilst encouraged by economic development minister Allan Bell's support for the granting of a second casino licence in the Island in Tynwald this week, he won't wait forever.

He says building on the Island has always been more difficult than building in the UK, but he has many other schemes he's pursuing which are much bigger than his casino project, so he needs to press ahead:
