Sail round the Island on the Ben-my-Chree

by isleofman.com 15th June 2010

THE Ben-my-Chree will be hosting the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company’s first round-the-Island trip of the year on Saturday.

It has been scheduled to take advantage of the long June evenings, giving passengers the opportunity to savour the Island’s spectacular scenery from the sea while the sun sets late into the evening.

The trip will leave at 7pm and tickets are ?19 for adults and ?15 for children and include a hot meal with dessert and light refreshments.

Steam Packet chief executive Mark Woodward said: "Our round-the-Island trips offer residents and visitors an unusual way to view parts of the Island’s coastline that they may not ordinarily see.

"These trips can provide a relaxing and convivial way to spend an evening taking in the spectacular scenery we have on our doorstep, but may not always have the opportunity to enjoy."

To reserve tickets call into the Ferry Travel shop at the Sea Terminal or call the Steam Packet's reservations team on 661661.
