Adverts in countryside - call for 'common sense'

A member of the House of Keys is acknowledging a former department of the Manx government may have been heavy handed when it banned community advertising in public locations.

Rushen MHK Juan Watterson is chairman of a Select Committee of Tynwald, formed to look into advertising in the countryside.

Ahead of presenting his committee's findings to Tynwald later today (Tuesday), Mr Watterson says a common sense attitude is needed:
