Relief all round as Connor isn't too badly hurt

by isleofman.com 11th June 2010

Conor Cummin's sponsor says it's a huge relief the Ramsey rider wasn't more seriously hurt when he crashed at the Verandah during the restarted Dainese Senior TT.

The incident saw the 'Ramsey Rocket' taken to Noble's Hospital by air-med helicopter, after receiving treatment at the scene.

Sponsor Joe Grant says Conor suffered arm and leg injuries.

He says once he has fully recovered they will start looking into what happened during the incident (play audio file):

The four lap Senior was won by Ian Hutchinson who made history by becoming the first rider ever to win five TT races in the same week.
